Clear reads brightest and shows tile the best. Low iron takes out the green tint you see along the edge of ordinary glass, which is far more obvious on a big panel than a small one. A frosted or rain texture gives privacy where a bathroom gets shared. Easy-clean glass is worth asking about anywhere in Metro Detroit, since hard water leaves a mineral film that dulls untreated glass over time.

Stock means a preset width and height that assumes square corners. Custom means the glass is cut to your opening after we measure it. Anything with an angle, a corner, a return panel, a knee wall, a bench, or a ceiling that is not flat is custom. In practice, most real bathrooms land there once somebody actually measures them.
Can you build an enclosure with no door at all?
Yes. A walk-in panel with an open entry is a common request in larger primary baths. It needs a longer run of tile and the right splash direction so water stays inside, and a tall fixed panel usually wants a brace or a header for stiffness. We will tell you at the measure whether your layout supports it or not.
Do you handle the tile and plumbing too?
No. Tile, waterproofing, and plumbing are separate trades and we stay in our lane, which is the glass. What we do is measure, fabricate, and install the enclosure. We are glad to coordinate timing with your tile setter so the glass gets measured after the tile is finished, which is when the real numbers finally exist.
Should I measure after the tile is done?
Always. Tile changes the opening, sometimes by a lot, and glass cut to bare studs or backer board will not fit. We measure finished surfaces.
