Pick the glass that fits the room
Standard clear glass carries a faint green cast at the edges that comes from the iron in ordinary float glass. Low-iron glass removes most of that tint, so what you see is closer to true color: white tile reads white, stone reads its real shade, and thick 3/8" panels stay bright instead of looking dingy. It is the natural choice when you want the enclosure to all but disappear.
Tinted glass goes the other way on purpose. A light bronze adds warmth and a soft amber tone, while a light grey reads cooler and more modern. Both gently mute what sits behind the glass, which can help in a busy or high-contrast bathroom and gives the enclosure a little more presence. Tint makes the most sense when the shower is a focal point, when you want a moodier feel, or simply when the color flatters your tile and fixtures. We will walk you through clear, low-iron, and tinted samples in the showroom so you can see them against your own finishes before you decide.

What is the difference between clear and low-iron glass?
