Heavy Glass
Thick, low-iron tempered glass for frameless enclosures. Heavy glass delivers the solid, premium feel and clarity that lighter framed showers can't match.
Why heavy glass
Heavy glass is the foundation of a true frameless shower. Built from 3/8" (and thicker) tempered glass, the panels are rigid enough to stand on their own with minimal hardware, so the enclosure reads as clean, open glass rather than a frame full of metal. The result is a substantial, vault-like feel every time you open the door.
Choosing low-iron glass takes it a step further. Standard glass carries a faint green tint that's most visible along thick edges; low-iron is clearer and more neutral, letting your tile, stone and finishes show in their true color. Pair the thickness and clarity with your choice of hardware finish and an optional protective coating, and you have an enclosure made to look and feel like the centerpiece of the bathroom. Every piece is measured, cut and installed to your exact opening in-house.

Common questions.
What's the difference between clear and low-iron heavy glass?
Standard clear glass has a slight green tint that shows most along the thick polished edges. Low-iron glass removes most of that tint for a cleaner, truer look, ideal when you want your tile and finishes to read accurately. We'll show you both in the showroom so you can compare.
Can heavy glass be made to fit my exact shower opening?
Yes. Every heavy-glass enclosure is custom. We measure your opening, then cut, temper-process and install the glass to fit precisely, with the hardware finish you choose. Nothing is off-the-shelf.
