What Install Day Looks Like
We arrive with your glass, your hardware, and the notes from the measure. If there is an old enclosure, it comes out first and leaves with us. Then the hardware gets set to the walls with plumb checked as we go, and the panels are placed. Glass gets sealed where sealing belongs and left alone where it does not, because a bead of silicone in the wrong spot traps water instead of turning it back. Doors get swung, sliders get rolled, and anything not moving the way it should gets adjusted before we pack up. We clean up after ourselves, wipe the glass down, and walk it with you before we leave.

Common questions.
Why can I not just give you my own measurements?
Because the number you take with a tape and the number the glass needs are rarely the same one. We read the opening in three places, check the walls for plumb and the curb for level, and account for how the room is actually built. Openings drift. Missing it by a fraction shows up later as a gap or a door that drags. The measure is free, so there is no reason to guess.
Do you install glass in Richmond, or only near Sterling Heights?

What glass do you install?
3/8 inch tempered is our standard heavy glass, and it is what gives a frameless panel the weight and the feel most people are picturing. From there the look is your call. Clear, low-iron ultra-clear, satin frosted, or rain-textured. Easy-clean glass is available as well, which is worth asking about given the water in this part of Michigan.
Is tile and plumbing part of what you do?
No. Tile, plumbing, and steam-generator work belong to other trades, and we would rather tell you that up front than pretend otherwise. What we do is measure, fabricate, and install the glass enclosure and its hardware. If your project needs tile or plumbing done first, get that finished and set, then we come measure the finished opening and build to it.
Is the install messy?
Not particularly. It is a glass and hardware job, not demolition. The old enclosure, if you have one, goes out with us. Hardware gets set, panels get placed, and sealant goes where it should and nowhere else. We clean up before we leave and wipe the glass down, so what you see when we pull out is the finished job rather than a fingerprinted one.
