No, because nothing we build is a standard size. Plenty of the walk-in showers up here are wide enough to need more than one panel, sometimes with a return wall or a knee wall in the mix. We measure the actual opening, corner to corner, and the glass gets cut to those numbers. A bigger enclosure means more glass and more planning at the measure, not a different process.
Do I need a plumber or a tile guy involved?
For a straight replacement, usually not. We are working with the glass, the frame, and the hardware, and none of that means opening your valve or pulling tile. We do not do plumbing, tile, or steam generator work, so if something behind the wall needs attention we will say so plainly at the measure and you can get the right trade in before we build. Better to know early.
How long is the bathroom out of use?
It takes two visits. The measure is short. Then your glass gets fabricated to those numbers and we come back to set it. Install day is a matter of hours for most enclosures, not days. Where the enclosure gets sealed, the silicone needs time to cure before you run water on it, and we tell you exactly how long before we leave. You get a realistic timeline at the measure.
Is the whole job really done by your own people?
Yes. One family measures the opening, builds the glass, and comes back to set it. There is no sub-contracted glass shop in the middle and no installer showing up who never saw your bathroom.
